Hey Lovers
Welcome to my world, I hope you enjoy the ride. I go by the name Valery but my mother also named me Keabetsoe (Kea), hence BeingKeaLove. I chose this name because it’s one name my Mom gave me that didn’t make it to my ID, somewhat of a tribute to my Mommy. KeaLove was born in 2018, as a rebrand to my old brand that I started in varsity Bonnie ’n Clyde.
I changed my brand because I have grown and changed as a woman and that name had too much negative vibe for it (a story for another day). I spent time trying to come up with a name for my new brand and I couldn’t be happier with KeaLove (From Kea with Love).
I am a professional UX/UI Designer, I also do modeling, photography, painting, and writing. A little storytime, I remember myself drawing, doing crafts, designing my clothes, and singing as a child, and today I am a creative soul finding and understanding myself through my gifts, with you guys with me every step of the way, of course! As a 90s kid, it wasn’t that easy choosing a career as a creative with our parents being of a different generation, to not knowing anyone or that many who looked like me succeeding in art or any creative career path.
I created this blog because I wanted a platform where I can share my work but my experiences too as I face my fears and live out my destiny. I know sometimes we feel like we’re going through things alone and that’s why the BeingKeaLove family exists.
